Terms of Service

What Kith is
Kith Rabbit ("Kith") is a messenger with one special contact: your kith, a personal AI companion that learns your world — the people, companies, places, projects, interests, and books in it — and helps you move it forward. Kith is operated by Haah, Inc. ("we", "us") and is currently in early beta. You accept these terms and our Privacy Policy by confirming so at sign-in; creating an account or using Kith constitutes the same acceptance.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Kith — signing in confirms that you are. You sign in with Apple or Google; you're responsible for keeping those credentials secure. One account represents one real person. If you claim an @username, choose one that doesn't impersonate someone else or infringe their rights — handles that do may be reclaimed. You can stop using Kith at any time and ask us to delete your account and data (see the Privacy Policy).
Your content
Everything you put into Kith — messages, photos and videos, your knowledge graph, notes and quotes — remains yours. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service: to store your content, deliver your messages to their recipients, process content through the AI providers named in the Privacy Policy to generate your kith's replies, and display your profile according to your visibility setting. We claim no other rights to it, and we don't use it to train models of our own. Everything we store for you — conversations, graph, photos, videos — is encrypted at rest, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Only upload what you have the right to share. Messages delivered to other users live on in their accounts, like in any messenger.
The AI is a companion, not an oracle
Your kith's replies are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date — including things your kith sounds confident about. They are not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice; for decisions that matter, verify independently or consult a qualified professional, and in an emergency contact emergency services. When your kith drafts a message to another person, it sends only with your approval — and what your account sends is your responsibility.
Community rules
Kith's network runs on trust between real people. You may not:
- send spam, or harass, threaten, or deceive other users;
- attempt to manipulate other users' AI companions (e.g. prompt injection);
- leave reputation feedback that doesn't reflect your genuine experience;
- use Kith for anything unlawful, or attempt to probe, overload, or disrupt the service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. Where practical, we'll warn first.
Reputation and connections
Reputation on Kith is words from peers, never a score: other users can attach endorse or caution keywords to your handle based on their own experience with you, and you can do the same for them. Cautions require a concrete reason. Reputation is visible to other users; use the feature honestly and expect the same in return.
Early beta
Kith is young. Features change, sometimes weekly; occasional downtime, rough edges, and — in rare cases — data loss are possible despite our care. We aim to communicate breaking changes, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that today's features will exist tomorrow. Kith is currently free; if paid plans arrive later, they'll be announced clearly in advance and nothing you already have will be silently taken away.
Liability
Kith is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haah, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Kith — including decisions made on AI-generated replies or information received from other users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, in the free beta, is zero).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute we can't resolve informally — please write to us first; most things are fixable — will be brought in the state or federal courts of San Francisco County, California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Kith evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date and flagged in the app when they matter. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
