What a credit is
Credits measure what your Kith spends working for you. A quick reply costs about a credit. A question that sends it searching the web and reading pages costs more, because it does more. Your allowance resets every Monday, and the “This week” bar in Settings shows what you have used.
What a week can look like
One example of a full week on each plan. Every plan can do everything on the list; the difference is how much of it fits.
| In a week | Free | Pro | Ultra |
|---|---|---|---|
| Messages to your Kith | 30 | 80 | 250 |
| People added from a sentence | 8 | 25 | 60 |
| Links, videos and posts read | 3 | 10 | 30 |
| “Who could help me with…?” | 3 | 10 | 30 |
| Recorded conversations summarised | 1 | 4 | 10 |
| Documents written | 1 | 2 | 6 |
| Research questions on the web | 2 | 6 | 20 |
| Scheduled briefings | 1 | 4 | 14 |
| Credits used, about | 118of 120 | 352of 360 | 1,073of 1,080 |
Roughly what things cost
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| A message to your Kith | about 1.5 |
| Adding someone from a sentence | about 2 |
| Reading a link, video or post you send | about 2 |
| Asking who could help, answered on the map | about 3 |
| Summarising a recorded conversation | about 4 |
| Writing a document, like a brief or one-pager | about 8 |
| A research question: searching and reading pages | about 10 |
| A scheduled briefing, each time it runs | about 10 |
These are generous estimates. A reply in a short conversation costs less; a research question that runs a dozen searches, or a reply drawn from a very large map, can cost more.
Questions
What happens when I run out?
Your Kith tells you, and picks up again when the week resets on Monday. Scheduled tasks wait until then too. You can upgrade at any time and the extra credits are there at once.
Do unused credits carry over?
No. Each week starts fresh with the full allowance.
Is Kith smarter on a paid plan?
No. Every plan runs the same model. We tested larger ones, and the one we use answered better and cost less, so charging more for a worse answer would make no sense. Paid plans give your Kith more room: more credits each week, more steps in a single answer, and on Ultra, more of a long conversation held in mind.
Is my data handled differently?
No. Every plan gets the same encryption, the same zero-data-retention providers, and the same promise that nobody trains on your content. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I upgrade, pay and cancel?
Upgrade in the app, under Settings → Membership. On iPhone, iPad or Mac, Apple bills you; on Android, Google Play does; on the web at app.kithrabbit.com, we bill your card through Stripe. Plans renew monthly. Cancel where you bought it, and the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. The full terms are in the Terms of Service.
Can I try Pro or Ultra for free?
Yes. Every friend who joins on your link and gets going earns you a week of the plan above yours, up to twelve weeks at a time. How referrals work.
